Central was established in 1853, Central College of Pella is a residential four-year liberal arts institution that is known for its academic excellence in the field of athletics success, experiential learning, sustainability education, STEM (science, technology, engineering and math), and tradition, and leadership and service. The college takes part in the NCAA Division III meet and is a member of Iowa Conference. Applicants will automatically be considered for awards once they apply. All Central College scholarships are solely based on merit, regardless of need. All are renewable every year and is subject to the level of academic progress. The schools’ goal is to recognize students for their academic performance as a college education to ensure you have the resources necessary for an affordable four years at Central.
Full-tuition Kuyper Scholarships and $30,000 Rolscreen Scholarships are well acclaimed most prestigious scholarship awards granted at the Central. Scholarship beneficiaries will be from among the Central’s Academic Scholar Days participants. Scholarships will be granted to students who has academic potential.
Central offers a variety of bachelor’s degree programs. The liberal arts curriculum will prepare the students to future in-depth knowledge in the chosen major area.These degree programs are: Art, Community Service, Computer Science, Creative Writing, Entrepreneurship, French, German, Ministry and Mission, Music, Physics, Spanish, Sustainability and Theater.
Central offers more than $20,000 scholarships to students with different academic credentials. If you have a 3.0 GPA, you will be granted a scholarship up to $20,000 per year. And if you have a GPA of 3.25, you will be granted a scholarship worth up to $20,000 per year, and a GPA of 3.5 for a scholarship of up to $21,000 per year and lastly, a GPA of 3.85 for a scholarship of up to $24,000 per year.
